Business Builder
Business Builder takes an idea in your own words and a team builds the business for you: Winston as chief executive picks the name, customers and prices; a web builder makes the website and shop; a strategist writes the business plan; and a marketer drafts your first post and emails. Underneath, a name checker tells you whether your business name is free as a web address and on social media.

1. Building a business

Open Business Builder
It's in the Start group on the main hub, and under Plan in a business hub.

Describe your idea
For example "I bake cakes at home and want to sell them in my town". Plain words are perfect.

Or press Surprise me
Write a little about yourself first, like what you enjoy or where you live, and Winston suggests a business that fits.

Press Build my idea
Keep the page open. It usually takes a few minutes. You'll see each team member's progress.

Read the result
Your business is ready: what you sell, and what happens next.

Open your business
Press Open my business. Review the drafts the team left and press OK on the ones you like. Nothing goes out without your OK.
If a step didn't finish, press Try again. To start over with a different idea, press Change my idea.
2. Checking a name

Type the name
In Is the name free?, enter the business name, for example Tidy Paws Grooming.

Read the results
Winston checks it as a website address and as a handle on the main social sites.

Check the rest by hand
Some sites block automatic checks; open each link shown to look yourself.

Register quickly
Free means nobody has it right now. Register the domain and handles you want soon.
